des Verwandten ist Thema der Reihe "Dopplereffekt". Jeder Teilnehmer
beschreibt Begegnungen mit für ihn verwandten Ideen, Bildern oder
Vorgehensweisen anhand von Dokumenten, Fotos, Videos oder Texten.
Zentral im Konzept ist die vermittelnde Person und deren Beschreibung oder
Auffassung der Dopplung in den Fundstücken. Die Form der Präsentation
in der Ausstellung ist also jeweils eine Art von Triptychon oder Dreigliederung
in der Installation, die zwei Quellen und die Gestaltung oder Vermittlung
des Beteiligten nebeneinander sichtbar werden läßt.
Ein Teil dieser Sammlung ist also Analyse der eigenen Position oder deren
Extrovertierung.
Das Ganze kreist auf dem Feld der Idee um den Begriff des Neuen und um
Fragen der Konvergenz (der Analogie/Homologie). Das klassische Dilemma
zwischen Henne und Ei findet so mal wieder Bearbeitung.
Berührt werden Inhalte wie: Synchronizität im Auftauchen von
Arbeiten / Rekursive Schleifen eines Inhalts / Transfer von Ideen z.B.
von der Kunst ins Design oder umgekehrt / Das Zitat und das Plagiat /

DOPPLER
EFFECT – DOUBLING OF MOTIF OR STRATEGY
Oberwelt Member’s Exhibition
The theme of the exhibition series “ Doppler Effect” (wordplay
in German: “dopple” = double) is a repetition of related concepts.
Each participant uses documents, photos, videos or texts to describe encounters
with ideas, images or approaches that he sees as being related.
Central to the concept is the mediating person and their description or
understanding of the repetition in the found objects. Accordingly, the
form of presentation in the exhibition is in each case a kind of triptych
or three-way arrangement, where the two sources and the work or mediation
of the participant are shown next to each other.
As a result, an aspect of this collection is an analysis of the personal
position and its externalisation. It circles in the domain of ideas around
the concept of newness and questions of convergence (analogy/homology).
The classical dilemma of chicken and egg is explored once again. It touches
on concepts like: synchronism in the appearance of works / recursive looping
of content / transfer of ideas, e.g. from art to design or vice versa
/ citation and plagiarism / the reassessment and endorsement of a work…
