Die absurde surrealistische Bildwelt Felixmuellers verzichtet komplett auf Inszenierung.
Das Motiv zu finden, zum Bild werden zu lassen und wieder in Szene zu setzen, sind die Schritte, die Felixmueller unternimmt, um ein Bild aus der versteckten Außenwelt ins Feld der Betrachtung zu holen.
Die Bildersammlung Felixmuellers verdichtet die einzelnen Bilder des Alltags als Phänomen zur narrativen Bildsprache aus Assoziationen.
Die Inszenierung der Bilder im Raum verstärkt zudem noch die Suche nach dem, was die Essenz im Dazwischen, den Leerstellen des Alltags ist.

Felixmüller’s absurd surrealistic world of imagery dispenses completely with any form of staging. Finding a motif, allowing this to become an image and then drawing attention to it – these are the steps that Felixmüller takes to transport an image from the hidden outside world into the centre of focus.
Felixmüller’s collection of images condenses the individual images of everyday life as phenomena into a narrative visual imagery of associations.
The presentation of her images in space further reinforces the search for that, which is the essence of the in-between, the gaps in everyday life.
