(english)Mit dieser 4. Unternehmung möchte das >Begleitbüro< 2016 ein Format fortschreiben, welches in zwei „Bahnsteig-Wanderungen“ und einer „Magistralen-Wanderung“ im Zeitraum 2010 bis 2013 angelegt wurde.
In diesem Jahr geht es um die ästhetische und analytische
Begehung und Erkundung des sogenannten „Europa-Viertels“, eines urbanen Raumes, welcher ebenfalls in unmittelbarem Zusammenhang mit den städtebaulichen Eingriffen durch >STUTTGART 21< steht.
Das A1 Areal umfasst das Gebiet des ehemaligen Güterbahn-
hofes und hat in den vergangenen 6 Jahren und auch schon
vorher starke Veränderungen durchlaufen.

Es ist nun erkennbar, wie man sich in der Stadt Stuttgart
„zukunftsweisenden“ Städtebau vorstellt und realisiert.

Wie schon bei der „Magistralen-Wanderung“ wird der Personenkreis des Begleitbüros um Gäste und deren Beiträge erweitert.

A “performative/aesthetic/philosophical survey” of the so-called “European Quarter” in Stuttgart

With this venture the “Begleitbüro” wishes to revisit a format in 2016 that was initiated with two “Station Platform Walks” and a “Main Street Walk” between 2010 and 2013. This year the focus is on the aesthetic and analytic survey and exploration of the so-called “European Quarter”, an urban space that has been directly affected by the urban planning interventions of “STUTTGART 21”.
The A1 area comprises the site of the former railway freight yard and has undergone major changes over the last six years and even earlier.

It is now apparent how the City of Stuttgart conceives and implements “future-oriented” urban development.

As was the case with the “Main Street Walk”, this walk will by guided by the “Begleitbüro” team and invited guests with further contributions.
