(english version)Seit dem Sommer 2016 bot sich mir die einmalige Gelegenheit, auf originale Artefakte aus einer Zeitkapsel zuzugreifen:
Der Bildhauerscheune des Walter Proft.
Inszenatorisch und performativ wird ein substantieller Werkansatz aus der Mitte des 20. Jh. untersucht, der in idealtypischer Weise die Auseinandersetzungen mit der Moderne und den rigiden technoiden Umbrüchen der Epoche widerspiegelt.
Als Arbeitsprinzip dient die aus der Musik stammende Recomposing – Methode. An die Kernsetzungen haben sich aussagekräftige inhaltliche Seitenarme angelagert.

Since the summer of 2016 I have had the unique opportunity of accessing original artefacts from a time capsule: the sculpture barn of Walter Proft.

At both the presentational and performative levels, the object of interest is a substantial artistic approach from the mid-20th century that ideally reflects the critical examination of modernity and the rigid technoid upheavals of the era.

The principle underlying the work is the recomposing method known from music. Core themes are expanded on to include powerful conceptual offshoots.

Opening: Friday, 11th of October 2019, 7 pm

The exhibition can be viewed until the 2nd of November
